An Experiment was conducted to investigate the effects of liver stimulants like Liver - Up, Livozyme - Fe and Live – 52 Protec liquids on performance of Vanaraja chicken. Around 450 (day old) chicks of Vanaraja were wing banded and randomly distributed in to four groups. Group 1, 2 and 3 were respectively given Liver - up, Livozyme – Fe and Liv – 52 @ of 10 ml/ day/100 chicks in drinking water from day 1 to the six weeks of age and group 4 was treated as control. All the groups were fed with the layer starter ration and were vaccinated against Infectious Bursal disease and New castle disease. Significantly higher body weight was observed in-group – 3 (741.6 ± 12.24) followed by group – 2 (734 ± 13.36) and group – 1 (714.8 ± 13.99) as compared to control group (694.4 ± 11.70) at six-weeks of age. Mortality percentage up to 8 weeks of age was also higher in control group (9.82 %) as compared to group-1 (7.14 %), group – 2 (6.25 %) and group – 3 (4.46 %).
